Youth Leaders
Youth Allies is fundamentally about the young people who are a part of it. Many of the young people in the program have been growing their leadership & the program for years - contributing to the vision & design as well as mentoring those who come after them.

Remembering Rose Simmons
Rose Simmons (left) was a Youth Allies participant and leading Organizer from 2007 until the summer of 2009 when she was killed by a drunk driver. She was an amazing young activist with a huge heart and a fierce love of justice for humans, the earth, and all of its creatures. We light a candle for Rose at every Organizing meeting - as she is still a part of our group and family. She lives on in our hearts. Her memory gives us strength and inspiration as we work to realize her dream of peace, love, and justice for all of life on Earth. We know she fights alongside us in spirit.
